However his last two releases - Kadhalna Summa Illai (2009) and Aaranya Kaandam (2011), both in Tamil received critics’ appreciation. But later many of his movies flopped as audeinec had big expectations from him, post his debut movie success. He also earned South Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut award for the movie. In fact 7G Rainbow Colony gave him a big break to his acting career, who never thought to become an actor. Later his father asked him to make a trial with photo session and that’s how he got finalized for the role.
Both were busy at that time and the director Selva Raghava casually asked if he could accept the role. When his father took the project 7G Rainbow Colony, he wanted to cast Madhavan or Siddarth for the lead role. He never thought of joining film industry and acting happened by chance. He also continued his career in multimedia during this period. He also took his diploma in Interactive communication at Pentamedia. He completed graduation in Multimedia from London. He never wanted to be branded in his father’s name and wanted to create an identity of his own. Got noticed with the debut work, he later acted in Sukran, Ponniyin Selvan, Kedi, Brahmanandam Drama Company, Netru Indru Naalai, Ninna Nedu Repu, Kadhalna Summa Illai and Aaranya Kaandam belonging to Tamil and Telugu languages. He was successfully paired with actress Sonia Agarwal for the movie. He shot to fame with his debut Tamil movie, 7G Rainbow Colony in 2004 which earned him critics’ appreciation as well.
